A new Diablo 4 season is way more fun when you’ve got a route and you stick to it, especially if you’re trying to hit 100 without living in the game. I treat the early hours like setup work: skip the campaign if it’s already cleared, grab your first elixir, and start moving with purpose. If you’re short on key pieces early on, some players choose to buy Diablo 4 items to get their build online faster, but even without that, the big win is avoiding dead time and pointless travel.

    Start Fast With Strongholds
From level 1, I go straight into strongholds in Fractured Peaks and then branch out. They’re simple, they’re chunky XP, and the waypoints they unlock save you a ton of running later. Don’t overthink it. Clear one, portal out, head to the next. If your class feels a bit weak at the start, swap a skill or two and keep rolling; early levels are about speed, not style points. Keep an elixir up the whole time, too. It’s cheap, and you’ll notice the difference after a couple of hours.

Level 15 To 50: Dungeons With A Purpose
Once you hit 15, dungeons become the main meal. The trick is not picking random caves because they’re nearby; you want the ones that unlock Codex aspects your build actually needs. That way every run pays you twice: XP now and power later. Stay on World Tier 1 unless you’re deleting packs instantly on Tier 2, because slow clears quietly kill your XP per hour. If you’ve got friends on, group up and keep the pace high. People waste loads of time in town between runs; try doing your sorting every two or three dungeons instead.

Capstones, Nightmare Dungeons, And Helltide Rhythm
As you get close to 50, prep for Cathedral of Light instead of face-planting into it too early. Upgrade your weapon whenever you can, because damage is what keeps everything moving. In World Tier 3, start low Nightmare sigils and pick layouts with tight mob density. When Helltide pops, drop what you’re doing and go. The kills are steady, the events are quick, and mystery chests keep your mats healthy so you’re not stuck later farming basics.

World Tier 4 And The Long Push
Around 65 to 70, take the Fallen Temple capstone when you’re actually ready, not when you’re bored. After that, it’s repetition done smart: rotate dense Nightmare Dungeons, Helltides, and the occasional World Boss if it’s convenient. Keep elixirs rolling, tighten your gear around crit chance, vulnerable damage, and cooldown reduction, and don’t get trapped in town fiddling with every drop. If you like cutting down the busywork, u4gm is known for helping players buy game currency or items so upgrades land faster, and then you can get right back through the portal and keep the momentum going.
